Pareshkumar (PK) Patel

Pareshkumar (PK) Patel is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, specializing in hotel development and real estate investments. Over the past 20 years, he has built extensive expertise in managing a diverse portfolio of hotels, with a keen eye for identifying and revitalizing distressed properties through cost-effective strategies and innovative designs. From humble beginnings, PK’s journey from a toilet cleaner to a multimillionaire is a testament to his unparalleled success and visionary leadership while remaining grounded and generous.

Beyond his professional endeavors, PK is deeply involved in community organizations and professional associations. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Indian Community Center in the San Francisco Bay Area, playing a crucial role in governance and decision-making. Additionally, he is a board member of the Oakland Convention Center’s Visitor Bureau, contributing to tourism promotion and enhancing visitor experiences. His dedication to the real estate industry is further demonstrated by his presidency of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Silicon Valley in 2022, showcasing his commitment to advancing the interests of Asian real estate professionals.

PK is also an active member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), and the Chambers of Commerce in Oakland and Alameda, engaging in networking and collaboration with professionals across various sectors. As an Ambassador for the American Asian Hotel Owners Association, PK represents the interests of Asian hotel owners in the United States, supporting their growth and success. His academic credentials include an Economics Executive Program from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, underscoring his commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

PK’s success is complemented by his active community involvement and leadership roles in various trade associations. He frequently appears at educational events, sharing his industry expertise and always expressing gratitude for the support he received from his community. His motto is to provide the four basic needs—food, shelter, clothing, and education—to everyone in the world.

Atsuko Yube

Licensed in California, Atsuko brings over 25 years of comprehensive real estate expertise, specializing in wholesale and retail mortgage origination, underwriting, and residential and commercial sales. Born in Tokyo and fluent in Japanese, she enhances client and partner relationships with her unique cultural perspective. Atsuko’s passion for design and art complements her professional skills. With a BA in Art and advanced education in accounting and taxation, she is well-balanced in navigating the complexities of the real estate and hospitality industries.

Ankit Modak

Ankit Modak, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at The Ours, brings over eight years of IT leadership and entrepreneurial experience. After three years of IT engineering, Ankit launched his first startup in hospitality at 21, securing initial funding. Despite COVID-19 challenges, he pivoted to lead a successful IT consulting firm and founded a social impact startup focused on menstrual hygiene in India. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in International Business. Ankit is dedicated to innovation and sustainability, and in his free time enjoys yoga and travel. He aims to continue creating value through technology and socially impactful projects.

Project Manager

Ashish Gandhi

Experienced hospitality executive with a passion for program management, strategic planning, and redevelopment projects. Skilled in identifying market trends and driving product development initiatives. Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency. Proven track record in construction management, delivering projects on time and within budget. Over two decades with Verizon and other IT companies, launching technology-driven products and leading cross-functional teams.

Procurement Officer

Ryan Sun

Ryan Sun is a dedicated Procurement Officer with a passion for sourcing the best materials and services for his clients. With extensive experience in the procurement field, Ryan has honed his skills in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. His track record includes successful collaborations with industry-leading brands such as Hilton and Marriott, among others. Ryan has managed an average of 50 projects annually, showcasing his ability to handle high volumes of work while maintaining quality standards.
